North Arms.
A lovely inn in a very pretty village serving some very tasty food.
Travel 3 miles down the A422 from Banbury until you reach Wroxton, then on the second part of a large 'S' bend in the village, turn left down Church St. Bear right just pass the church and continue on down until you reach Mills lane which is by the local duck pond. The car park to the North Arms is just a short way up on the right.
This is a very pretty inn with a thatched roof which stands in the middle of the village of Wroxton and is surrounded by many thatched roofs cottages. The local duck pond is not only home to a few ducks, but is also full of fish. To the rear of the inn there is a very pretty garden with lots of wooden tables and chairs, and near by stands Wroxton College situated in its own beautiful grounds.
Perhaps after your lunch at the North Arms, you may like to stroll around the village and Wroxton College beautiful grounds, this is well worth a visit and is free of charge.
Inside the inn in the bar area there are old oak black beams and in the dining room a large fire place where you will see hanging hand painter pot and pans from canal barges. The tables are very nicely laid in green and white and are have green candles to match. On the wall in the Bar you will see framed "The Kalabergo Story", an interesting story which will take you back to the Napoleonic war.
